Mathematics of Life

I attended the “Mathematics of life” conference held at Helsinki University on the occasion of 60th birthday of Mats Gyllenberg. Mats was a coauthor of me whenever my knowledge on functional analysis was insufficient.The conference was a good show; my lecture is here: PDF.

Book in production

Our book is in production and we are reading the copy-edited chapters.

Workshop at Ohio State

I attended this workshop, organized by Jennifer Dunne, Alan Hastings and Andrey Morozov. It was hosted by the Mathematical Biosciences Institute at Ohio State University. This is the poster I presented.

Finally, our book has been submitted

In mid-August the book “Theory based ecology” was submitted to Oxford University Press. The authors include Liz Pásztor, Zoltán Botta-Dukát, Tamás Czárán, Gabriella Magyar and Géza Meszéna. We have been contracted to Oxford to doing this since 2009. Here is the web page of the book.
