There was a Dutch-Hungarian collaboration on Adaptive Dynamics, financed by the two national resaerch agency, NWO and OTKA. The coordinators were Hans Metz and Odo Diekmann on the Dutch side and Géza on the Hungarian side. Workshops organized within this framework in Hungary were instrumental in development of the new theory:
